This study aimed to determine the efficiency of ultraviolet (UV)-LED cold light treatment on the degradation of aflatoxin (AF)B1 in peanut oils. The peanut oil samples obtained from different places in China and abroad were determined for AFB1 degradation efficiency of the UV-LED cold-light irradiation method. The degradation products were analyzed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to quadrupole orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-Exactive MS).

Objective: To test the killing effect of type Ⅰ receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor (ROR1) chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) on several ROR1-expressing tumor cells
Methods: The CAR gene was designed and synthesized by constructing the lentiviral vector plasmid, and HⅠ/RⅠ was used to identify the plasmid. The expression levels of ROR1 among a variety of tumor cell lines were compared using flow cytometry (FCM). The killing effect of CAR-T on positive cells was detected by FCM, the LDH assay and ELISA.
Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) has a complex pathogenesis, and interleukin-17 (IL-17) is a newly identified class of the cytokine family that plays an important role in ischemic inflammation. An oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD) model showed that IL-17A expression was significantly up-regulated in microglial cells. After IL-17A siRNA transfection, the inhibition of proliferation, and the increased apoptosis in microglial cells, induced by OGD/reperfusion, was improved, and the elevation of Caspase-3, Caspase-8, Caspase-9, and poly ADP ribose polymerase (PARP) activities was inhibited.

Recent reports on the impressive efficacy of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-modified T cells against hematologic malignancies have inspired oncologists to extend these efforts for the treatment of solid tumors. Clinical trials of CAR-T-based cancer immunotherapy for solid tumors showed that the efficacies are not as remarkable as in the case of hematologic malignancies. There are several challenges that researchers must face when treating solid cancers with CAR-T cells, these include choosing an ideal target, promoting efficient trafficking and infiltration, overcoming the immunosuppressive microenvironment, and avoiding associated toxicity.
