The epidemic of avian coccidiosis seriously threatens the animals' welfare and the economic gains of the poultry industry. Widespread in avian coccidiosis, () could obviously impair the production performance of the infected chickens. So far, few effective vaccines targeting have been reported, and the nanovaccines composed of nanospheres captured our particular attention.

Seven heavy metals, including As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Hg, and Ni, were detected in the flue gas of six coal-fired power plants in Shijiazhuang, and the heavy metals in the soil surrounding the power plants were analyzed. The source analysis and health risk assessment of the heavy metals were carried out.

So far, no effective vaccine or drug is commercially available, and the demands for a safe and effective therapeutic strategy have become more and more urgent. In the current study, we constructed a DNA vaccine encoding ribosomal P2 protein (TgP2) and denoted as TgP2-pVAX1 plasmid.

By using APP/PS1 transgenic AD mice, we investigated the influence of orientin (Ori) on cognitive function and its underlying mechanisms in AD models. Our data indicated that Ori improved spatial learning and memory in APP/PS1 mice, possibly through decreasing brain Aβ deposition and attenuating autophagy impairment.

Maternal infection often results from close contact with infected children, and this may occur in day care centres (DCCs). A systematic review of observational studies was conducted to examine the prevalence of CMV infection among children attending DCCs.

IL-19 have indispensable functions in many inflammatory processes and also can induce the angiogenic potential of endothelial cells. The purpose of present study was to investigate the relation of serum interleukin-19 (IL-19) levels with diabetic nephropathy (DN).

Aims/introduction: The aim of the present study was to investigate the role of interleukin-19 (IL-19) in angiogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus with complications, and to assess the relationship of serum IL-19 and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) in type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Materials And Methods: The group studied comprised of 240 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (132 men and 108 women), and included macrovascular complications, microvascular complications and type 2 diabetes mellitus without vascular complications. The control group consisted of 50 healthy blood donors.
Cryptosporidiosis, microsporidiosis, and giardiasis contribute significantly to the high burden of zoonotic diarrhea worldwide. Goats constitute an important species in animal agriculture by providing cashmere wool, meat, and dairy products for human consumption. However, zoonotic pathogens with the potential to cause morbidity and to degrade production have been reported frequently in goats recently.
