Quality control (QC) in mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics is mainly based on data-dependent acquisition (DDA) analysis of standard samples. Here, we collect 2754 files acquired by data independent acquisition (DIA) and paired 2638 DDA files from mouse liver digests using 21 mass spectrometers across nine laboratories over 31 months. Our data demonstrate that DIA-based LC-MS/MS-related consensus QC metrics exhibit higher sensitivity compared to DDA-based QC metrics in detecting changes in LC-MS status.

Precise manipulation of genome structural variations holds great potential for plant trait improvement and biological research. Here we present a genome-editing approach, dual prime editing (DualPE), that efficiently facilitates precise deletion, replacement and inversion of large DNA fragments in plants. A novel and efficient palladium-catalyzed annulation of anilines with bromoalkynes for the synthesis of 2-phenylindoles has been described. This approach features excellent regio- and stereoselectivities and good functional group tolerance. Preliminary mechanistic studies indicate that anilines undergo -nucleophilic addition to bromoalkynes to generate ()--(2-bromo-1-phenylvinyl) anilines, followed by sequential C-H functionalization to deliver different substituted 2-phenylindoles.

Benzisothiazole dioxide compound was reported to agonize HIF-2 stabilization and improve EPO production, thus conceiving a potential strategy to treat disease with chronic hypoxia exemplified by renal anemia. Herein, on the bases of multiple molecular and cellular assays, a series of benzisothiazole derivatives have been synthesized and their structure-activity relationship was evaluated. The SAR and molecular docking studies have revealed the structural insights on the rational design of HIF-2 agonist and discovered a more potential 5-bromine substituted analogue, which showed 2-4 times improvement of HIF-2 downstream gene transcriptions, including EPO production.

Fulvic acid (FA) can affect the dispersion of graphene oxide (GO) in aquatic environments, however, the possible mechanisms remain unclear. Dynamic light scattering techniques combined with a multiple regression model were applied to explore the influence of FA sub-fractions (FA - FA) on the aggregation kinetics of GO in aqueous environments. The ratios of critical coagulation concentration (CCC) values were CCC: CCC: CCC: CCC = 1:2:3:3, which were consistent with the Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek (DLVO) theory and Schulze-Hardy rules.
