Objective: To investigate the diagnostic performance of Gd-EOB-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for distinguishing focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) from hepatocellular adenoma (HCA) in children.
Methods: Twenty-two patients (6 with HCA and 16 with FNH) were retrospectively included in this study. After qualitative analyses of MRI, quantitative analyses were performed by calculating the relative signal intensity ratios (SIR) between lesion and liver parenchyma both on precontrast and hepatobiliary phase images.
Sepsis is an exaggerated immune response resulting from systemic inflammation, which can damage tissues and organs. Acute kidney injury has been detected in at least one-third of patients with sepsis. Sepsis-associated acute kidney injury increases the risk of a secondary infection.

Methods: Eighty-six (86) participants with previously untreated first and second primary molars were included in this study. The teeth were randomly allocated into three groups: pure tricalcium silicate-based cement, resin-modified silicate glass cement, and novel portland cement-based material releasing fluoride.
Objectives: Cochlear implantation (CI) is a surgical intervention used to rehabilitate hearing in individuals, both pediatric and adult, with severe hearing loss. It is generally a safe procedure with rare postoperative complications. Facial nerve paralysis following cochlear implant surgery poses challenges in diagnosis and treatment.
