In the process of oilfield development, the surfactant-polymer (SP) composite system has shown significant effects in enhancing oil recovery (EOR) due to its excellent interfacial activity and viscoelastic properties. However, with the continuous increase in the volume of composite flooding injection, a decline in injection-production capacity (I/P capacity) has been observed. Through the observation of frozen core slices, it was found that during the secondary composite flooding (SCF) process, a large amount of residual oil in the form of intergranular adsorption remained in the core pores.

Association between body roundness index and female infertility: a cross-sectional study of NHANES 2013-2018.

Background: The use of visceral obesity as an indicator for predicting female infertility risk has not been well established. The body roundness index (BRI) is a novel, non-invasive indicator of visceral fat; however, previous reports have not addressed the relationship between the BRI and female infertility. This study sought to fill this research gap by investigating the association between the BRI and the risk of female infertility.

Psychological sense of community as mediator and growth mindset as moderator in the impact of institutional integrity and perceived teacher support on student thriving: Evidence from private universities in China.

Previous research may have focused more on the direct rather than indirect effects of psychological characteristics on student success. This study explored the mediating effect of psychological sense of community and the moderating effect of growth mindset on the impacts of institutional integrity and perceived teacher support on student thriving in academic, interpersonal, and psychological domains. The hypothesized research model was proposed based on the Thriving Model, and the study was carried out in the setting of private universities in China.
