OVARIAN CANCER TREATMENT OPTIMIZATION: THE COMPLEX ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF CYTOREDUCTIVE SURGERY, MICROSCOPIC MALIGNANCY AND T-LYMPHOCYTIC INFILTRATION OF THE TUMOR.

The paper discusses 64 cases of ovarian cancer (observed in 2016-2019). Patients underwent cytoreductive surgery. Both Shimizu/Silverberg system and the "Two-tier" system were used to grade the tumor differentiation of serous carcinomas.

Papillary thyroid carcinoma in Struma Ovarii.

Struma Ovarii is one of the types of mature teratoma, with predominant thyroid tissue (>50%). It occurs in 1% of all cases of ovarian tumors and in 2.7% of dermoid tumors.

ON THE TOPIC OF SURGICAL DEBULKING OF EPITHELIAL OVARIAN CANCER (REVIEW).

Surgical debulking is a relatively new and promising treatment for epithelial ovarian cancer. The aim of the study was to analyze current literature data to identify the best algorithms in order to promote the wider adoption of cytoreductive treatment based on the principles of evidence-based medicine. Such an analysis is important, since different studies contain contradictory results and their authors often point out the need for additional data to develop reliable recommendations.

Gynecologic oncology training systems in Europe: a report from the European network of young gynaecological oncologists.

Objective: The objectives of the study were to highlight some of the differences in training systems and opportunities for training in gynecologic oncology across Europe and to draw attention to steps that can be taken to improve training prospects and experiences of European trainees in gynecologic oncology.

Methods: The European Network of Young Gynaecological Oncologists national representatives from 34 countries were asked to review and summarize the training system in their countries of origin and fulfill a mini-questionnaire evaluating different aspects of training. We report analysis of outcomes of the mini-questionnaire and subsequent discussion at the European Network of Young Gynaecological Oncologists national representatives Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention meeting in Istanbul (April 2010).

Cervical carcinoma and pregnancy.

Abortion and conization of the cervix is the treatment of choice for patients with preinvasive cervical carcinoma combined with first-term pregnancy. With the second and third term, the pregnancy is led to delivery and a secondary examination is carried out. In case of preienvasive carcinoma only conization of the cervix is performed.
