Partial secondary adentia together with caries and parodont diseases is among the most widespread diseases of dentofacial system, correlated, in addition, to the number of lost teeth, with the age. Result in speech and chewing functions' disorders, change of face shape, esthetic and psychosocial inferiority, pathologies of digestive and other systems, formation of the chronic infection areas, changes of reactivity etc,. Improvement of the methods of prevention and treatment of the above diseases is one of the most significant problems in the dentistry.

Reduction of serum thyroxin in the mothers' blood during three months before mating and whole period of gestation to an average level of 4,7+/-0,6 ng/ml, significantly worsened the learning ability in progeny, and the reduction to 1,1+/-0,4 ng/ml - completely deprived progeny's learning ability. Passage of the maze for these animals was purely probabilistic in nature without any signs of learning We can conclude that the diet with very low iodine content results in a low level of thyroxin in maternal serum and neurological deficiency in progeny manifested by learning disability during maze testing.

This effect is steady to naloxone (1 mg/kg), yohimbine (5 mg/kg) and removal by prazosin (1 mg/kg). Clophelin depresses nociceptive responses of the central gray matter neurones which generalized pain impulses in the supraspinal structures.

It has been established that general analgetic points are better represented in the central gray substance, as compared to locally-segment points. Different degree involvement of central gray substance in the realization of acupuncture analgetic effect in different points is postulated.
