In recent years, multiple population outbreaks of the Northern Pacific starfish (Asterias amurensis) have been documented off the coast of Qingdao. Starfish use chemosensation to regulate their life history and interactions with the environment, with their secondary metabolites serving as deterrents and dispersal agents against predators. While the eggs of marine fish are passive and susceptible, we hypothesized that the secondary metabolites of A.

Ionic devices find applications such as flexible electronics and biomedicines and function by exploiting hybrid circuits of mobile ions and electrons. However, the poor interfacial compatibility of hard electronic conductors with soft ionic conductors in ionic devices leads to low deformability, sensitivity, electromechanical responses, and stability. Herein, an interpenetrating interface between silicone-modified polyurethane/carbon nanotube electronic conductors and ionoelastomers in an ionic device using in situ polymerization is fabricated.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most common degenerative diseases in dogs and humans, which can lead to articular cartilage deterioration, chronic pain, and decreased quality of life. The anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, analgesic, and cartilage regeneration properties of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy provide a new direction for the treatment development of OA in the future. Currently, MSC therapy lacks confirmed ideal sources, dosages, formulations, and specific characteristics.

Aim: This study seeks to confirm the therapeutic effectiveness of TRFD in inhibiting adipogenesis and promoting osteogenesis in primary osteoporosis through the MAPK/HIF-1α signaling pathway. C57BL/6J mice underwent ovariectomy (OVX) to induce osteoporosis. Mice were administered TRFD (Low and high doses)estradiol for a duration of 12 weeks.
