[Methods for predicting the risks of development, course and recurrence of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment].

Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) is a severe disease of the visual organ that is one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide. Without surgical treatment, RRD almost always leads to vision loss and blindness. Surgical treatment in the early stages of the disease reduces the risk of blindness.

The Prophylaxis Effect of Ephedrine on Hemodynamic Variation in Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy Surgery with Spinal Anesthesia.

Background: Performing spinal anesthesia with at least hemodynamic variation and complications is always challenging for anesthesiologists. In this study, we investigated the effect of ephedrine and placebo on hemodynamic changes in patients undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy with spinal anesthesia.

Methods: This randomized, double-blind prospective clinical trial was conducted on 120 patients aged 20‒60 years with ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) classes I and II.

[Functional activity of natural killers and T-killers in transplantation of the ovary in mice].

The activities of natural killer (NK) cells and T-killers of mice after transplantation of allogeneic ovaries were studied. It was shown that during first month after transplantation cytotoxic and membrano-toxic activities of these effector cells were increased. Activation of NK and T-killers depends on tension of transplantation immunity and may serve as prognostic criteria of rejection.
