With the advent of the 5G era, high-precision localization based on mobile communication networks has become a research hotspot, playing an important role in indoor emergency rescue in shopping malls, smart factory management and tracking, as well as precision marketing. However, in complex environments, non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation reduces the measurement accuracy of 5G signals, causing large deviations in position solving. In order to obtain high-precision position information, it is necessary to recognize the propagation state of the signal before distance measurement or angle measurement.

The lateral line system in fish is crucial for detecting water flow, which facilitates various behaviors such as prey detection, predator avoidance, and rheotaxis. The cupula, a gelatinous structure overlaying the hair cells in neuromasts, plays a key role in transmitting mechanical stimuli to hair cells. However, the molecular composition of the cupula matrix remains poorly understood.

Using male sterile (MS) lines instead of normal inbred maternal lines in hybrid seed production can increase the yield and quality with lower production costs. Therefore, developing a new MS germplasm is essential for maize hybrid seed production in the future. Here, we reported a male sterility gene , cloned from a newly found MS mutant .

The increasing challenge of marine biofouling, mainly due to barnacle settlement, necessitates the development of effective antifoulants with minimal environmental toxicity. In this study, fifteen derivatives of brusatol were synthesized and characterized using C-NMR, H-NMR, and mass spectrometry. All the semi-synthesized compounds obtained using the Multi-Target-Directed Ligand (MTDL) strategy, when evaluated as anti-settlement agents against barnacles, showed promising activity.
