Purpose: Idiopathic generalized epilepsies (IGE) are age-related epileptic syndromes mainly described in children and adolescence. Our aim is to describe their electroclinical features in the elderly.

Research Design And Methods: This was an open, prospective study, randomized in parallel groups, in which 125 patients were enrolled and treated for up to 42 days. The primary efficacy criterion was the reduction of the wound area; other efficacy criteria were the condition of the wound bed, and of the surrounding skin, and presence and severity of symptoms such as pain and itching.
The nano-oligosaccharide factor (NOSF) is a new compound aiming to promote wound closure mainly through inhibition of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity. This factor is incorporated within a lipido-colloid matrix (Techonology Lipido-Colloid-NOSF matrix) and locally released in the wound.
