In this paper, we examined the asymmetric dynamics and causality of technological progress--proxied by green technology innovation--on both consumption-based carbon (CCO) and territory-based carbon (TCO) emissions in Saudi Arabia using quarterly data from 1990Q1 to 2021Q4. Our initial results reject the normality and linearity assumptions of data series and thus emphasize that the observed associations are quantile dependent. We firstly utilized the quantile-on-quantile regression (QQR) approach to draw the interdependency between green technology innovation and both CCO and TCO emissions.

The antifungal drugs currently available and mostly used for the treatment of candidiasis exhibit the phenomena of toxicity and increasing resistance. In this context, plant materials might represent promising sources of antifungal agents. The aim of this study is to evaluate for the first time the chemical content of the volatile fractions (VFs) along with the antifungal and anti-biofilm of L.

This paper examines the asymmetric impacts of both renewable energy consumption and economic complexity on Saudi Arabia's economic growth in nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) frameworks. We firstly adopt the methodology of both standard NARDL and multiple threshold NARDL (MT-NARDL) models using quarterly data over the period 2000Q1-2015Q4. Then, we test the direction of the causal relationships between the underlying variables using both symmetric and asymmetric Granger causality tests.
