Given the significant changes in the immune, circulatory, respiratory, and hormonal systems during the progression of the pregnancy, and the specific factors with higher risk of COVID-19, like metabolic, vascular, and endothelial factors, typically also associated with maternal and neonatal unfavorable outcomes, the full understanding of how COVID-19 affects pregnant women is not clarified yet.
Methods: In this study, anonymous data from medical records of pregnant women with lab-confirmed COVID-19 in Astana, Kazakhstan from May 1, 2021, to July 14, 2021, were collected retrospectively.
Objective: Endovascular interventions (EVIs) are an effective and minimally invasive therapeutic option for peripheral arterial diseases (PADs). This study aimed to evaluate the results of EVIs for PADs on the targeted arterial segments (TASs).
Patients And Methods: One hundred and sixteen (116) participants with PADs were included in this cohort study.
Chest injury is often accompanied by polytrauma and is complicated by respiratory failure. This article presents a series of cases with verified acute respiratory failure in patients with chest injury, where vibroacoustic pulmonary therapy was used in complex treatment. Dynamic X-rays and respiratory drive indicators reflected the effect of the use of vibroacoustic lung therapy.
