: Our study describes hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as an additional therapy in the conservative treatment of Crohn's disease (CD) and its benefit in the early postoperative period to prevent surgical complications and improve gastrointestinal motility. : This retrospective study evaluated HBOT in patients hospitalized at the Clinical Hospital Center Split for complications of CD between 2015 and 2020. Patients (N = 61) aged 19 to 67 with perianal fistulas, abscesses, fistulas, obstruction, stenosis, or bleeding were included, excluding those with ulcerative colitis or requiring intensive care.

Introduction:   The main advantage of extraperitoneal cesarean section (EXPCS) is not only less pain, faster recovery, and less potential for infection but also a possible lack of intraperitoneal adhesions.

Methods:   In a 3-year period from 2019 to 2022, 88 EXPCSs were performed. A comparison was made with 90 patients who underwent a standard transperitoneal cesarean section (TPCS).

A validated questionnaire is required to evaluate scientifically community-based breastfeeding support and promotion. The aim of this study was to create a valid and reliable questionnaire to measure parents' behavior and attitudes about breastfeeding. The items in the questionnaire were selected by the authors according to regular data from the professional literature, and in consultation with three pediatric lecturers at higher and secondary health education, fellow pediatricians, and parents.

The aim of this case report is to show the advantages of the extraperitoneal cesarean section (ECS) approach in a pregnant patient with multiple previous abdominal transperitoneal colon surgeries and Crohn's disease. A pregnant nulliparous woman with Crohn's disease was admitted for delivery. After delivery, a large rupture and lesion of the rectum was observed.
