The temperature dependencies of the lower critical field H_{c1}(T) of several filled-skutterudite superconductors were investigated by local magnetization measurements. While LaOs_{4}As_{12} and PrRu_{4}As_{12} exhibit the H_{c1}(T) dependencies consistent with the single-band BCS prediction, for LaRu_{4}As_{12} (the superconducting temperature T_{c}=10.4  K) with a similar three-dimensional Fermi surface, we observe a sudden increase in H_{c1}(T) deep in a superconducting state below about 0.

We report experimental results of 139La pulse NMR studies in LaOs4As12. Measurements have been performed on a powder sample obtained from high quality single crystals. For the first time the pattern of quadrupole echoes for 139La nuclei (I=7/2) was obtained.

Electrical resistivity, specific heat, and magnetization measurements to temperatures as low as 80 mK and magnetic fields up to 16 T were made on the filled skutterudite compound PrOs4As12. The measurements reveal the presence of two ordered phases at temperatures below approximately 2.3 K and in fields below approximately 3 T.

We present low-temperature heat and charge transport as well as caloric properties of a ThAsSe single crystal. An extra -AT(1/2) term in the electrical resistivity, independent of magnetic fields as high as 14 T, provides evidence for an unusual scattering of conduction electrons. Additionally, both the thermal conductivity and the specific heat show a glass-type temperature dependence which signifies the presence of tunneling states.
