Manifest changes in the immunity status are detected in lymphoproliferative diseases of the skin and in Kaposi's sarcoma. Therapy results in elevation of the initially lowered levels of T mu- and T gamma-cells, this being a favorable result. Scintillation of T mu- and T gamma-cells may be used to monitor the efficacy of therapy in such patients.

Manifest disorders of cellular and humoral immunity are detectable with the use of immunologic tests in patients with mycosis fungoides, skin reticulosis, and Kaposi's sarcoma. The pattern of changes in Kaposi's sarcoma differs from that in malignant lymphomas of the skin. The detected immune status disorders necessitate the use of immunomodulators in combined therapy of such patients.

The platelet cytotoxic action on tumor cells was studied in patients with mycosis fungoides and Kaposi's sarcoma. The findings evidence, that along with the known populations of cytotoxic effector cells, such as lymphocytes and monocytes, platelets may destroy tumor cells as well. Platelet ability to induce tumor cell lysis is essentially increased in mycosis fungoides patients treated according to scheme B.

Twenty-six cultures were prepared by the cultivation method. Continuous cells lines (IK-10 and IK-12) were obtained in two cases, in the rest short-lived cell cultures were prepared. All the isolated cell cultures were studied by transmission electron microscopy.

Studies of these cell ultrastructure, carried out by transmission electron microscopy, have shown organoids of all types, that are characteristic of both minor and medium lymphocytes and of lymphoblasts. Markers of T-, B-cells and mononuclears are also detectable in these cell lines.
