Effect of gamma (γ-) radiation on the opto-structural and morphological properties of green synthesized BaO nanoparticles using leaves.

In this current assessment, BaO synthesized from leaves were irradiated using 0-75 kGy gamma radiation and investigated its physical impacts. The x-ray diffraction (XRD) data demonstrated the synthesis of tetragonal BaO, and no phase deviation was observed after irradiation. As doses are increased, the overall crystallite size were decreased due to an increase in defects and disorders.

By solubilizing hemicellulose and modifying the fiber structure, novel food products with increased nutritional value can be created. In this study, a novel GH5_34 subfamily arabinoxylanase from Herbinix hemicellulosilytica, HhXyn5A, was identified, produced and extensively characterized, for the intended exploitation in cereal processing to solubilize potential prebiotic fibers: arabinoxylo-oligosaccharides.

Introduction: Bone-specific alkaline phosphatase (BALP) has been a sensitive and reliable marker of bone metabolic activity. The study aimed to study the epidemiology of orthopaedic trauma patients and estimate the level of BALP in these patients.

Material And Methods: This hospital-based observational cross-sectional study was conducted on over 300 patients admitted to the orthopaedic trauma unit in the level I trauma centre of North India during the study period from January 2020 to January 2021.

External Diameter of Vermiform Appendix in Bangladeshi People of Different Age & Sex.

This cross sectional descriptive study was performed on 70 postmortem vermiform appendix (male 34 and female 36) to find out the external diameter of vermiform appendix of Bangladeshi people in different age and sex. The specimens were collected from autopsy laboratory of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Mymensingh Medical College, Mymensingh, Bangladesh from October 2016 to March 2017 by purposive sampling technique. The collected samples were divided into four age groups.
