Background: Primary pulmonary lymphoepithelial carcinoma (pLEC) is a subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) characterized by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. However, the molecular pathogenesis of pLEC remains poorly understood.
Methods: In this study, we explored pLEC using whole-exome sequencing (WES) and RNA-whole-transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) technologies.
Oxalic acid (OA), an essential pathogenic factor, has been identified in several plant pathogens, and researchers are currently pursuing studies on interference with OA metabolism as a treatment for related diseases. However, the metabolic route in remains unknown. In this study, we describe D-erythroascorbic acid-mediated OA synthesis and its metabolic and clearance pathways in rice blast fungus.

Design: Multicentre, double blinded, placebo controlled phase 3 trial.
Setting: 22 centres in China, September 2016 to December 2020.
In this contribution, we designed a new xanthate RAFT agent by introducing (5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2-naphthalenyl)oxy (TNO) as the Z group, namely 2-[(((5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-2-naphthalenyl)oxycarbonothioyl)thio)ethyl propanoate] (TNXEP). Due to the presence of the TNO group, TNXEP enabled highly controlled and ultrafast photoiniferter RAFT polymerization under violet (λ = 405 nm) and blue (λ = 450 nm) light. This approach was effectively extended to aqueous media for polymerization-induced self-assembly (PISA), facilitating the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles.

Methods: This prospective observational study included 341 patients with abnormal psychometric results, as measured by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). Of these, 262 patients opted for follow-up and 79 chose surgery.
