Carbon dioxide capture has attracted worldwide attention because CO emissions cause global warming and exacerbate climate change. Ionic liquids (ILs) have good application prospects in carbon capture due to their excellent properties, which provide a new chance to develop efficient and reversible carbon capture systems. This paper reviews the recent progress in CO chemical absorption by ILs, such as N-site, O-site, C-site, and multi-site functionalized ILs.

A wide variety of skipped enynes were obtained in acceptable to good yields employing nonactivated terminal olefins as nucleophiles under mild conditions. This protocol features broad substrate scope and high functional group tolerance, therefore enabling late-stage functionalization and a scale-up experiment further to highlight the synthetic utility.

However, the challenges associated with the co-utilization of xylose and glucose often hinders the efficiency of lignocellulose bioconversion. Here, we engineered yeast to effectively produce free fatty acids from lignocellulose.

Few reported cases of HCS exist, especially with sufficient records to describe imaging and pathological features, making the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of HCS a significant challenge for physicians. Here, we report a case of HCS with spontaneous rupture as the initial symptom in a 77-year-old elderly male who was admitted with right upper abdominal pain for 8 days.

In current study, thirty patients with schizophrenia and AVH (SZ) and twenty-nine healthy controls (HC) underwent multi-feature MMN paradigm measurements including frequency and duration deviant stimuli (fMMN and dMMN). Clinical symptoms and MMN paradigm were followed up among SZ group after 8-week treatment.
