Microvascular Obstruction (MVO) is a common consequence of acute myocardial infarction. MVO is underdiagnosed and treatment is often nonspecific and ineffective. A multi-scale in-vitro benchtop model was established to investigate drug perfusion in MVO affected microcirculation.
