Following the publication of this paper, it was drawn to the Editor's attention by a concerned reader that the cell formation assay data shown in Figs. 3C, 4C and 7C, and certain of the western blotting data shown in Figs. 7E and 8E were strikingly similar to data that had already appeared in other articles written by different authors at different research institutes.

T helper 17 (Th17) cells, a pro-inflammatory T cell subset, were considered to contribute to the progression of endometriosis lesions. However, the regulatory mechanisms of Th17 cells in endometriosis remain unidentified, partially due to the difficulty in recovering live Th17 cells from endometriosis patients.

Recently, it has been shown to reduce postoperative pain and opioid in patients undergoing endoscopic submucosal dissection. Similar to endoscopic submucosal dissection, operative hysteroscopy is also an endoscopic surgical procedure within natural lumens.

Methods: Four microarray datasets (GSE12470, GSE14407, GSE18521 and GSE46169) were analyzed by the GEO2R tool to screen common differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Gene Ontology, the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes, the (KEGG) pathway and Reactome pathway enrichment analysis, protein-protein interaction (PPI) construction, and the identification of hub genes were performed.

Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA)-PRLB (progression-associated lncRNA in breast cancer) has been identified to enhance the drug resistance of breast cancer cells. In this study, the authors explored PRLB effect in the paclitaxel (Tax) resistance of ovarian cancer cells and revealed the role of RSF1 (remodeling and spacing factor 1)/nuclear factor kappaB (NF-κB) signaling in this process. Tax resistance was established in CAOV3 and SKOV3 cell lines.

Recent studies showed that long non-coding RNAs play a key role in human cancers. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the initiation and progression of cervical cancer remained to be further explored.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFMicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a cluster of short non-coding RNAs playing critical roles in human cancers. miR-187 was recently found to be a novel cancer-related microRNA. However, the expression and function of miR-187 in cervical cancer have not been investigated.
