Strongly alkaline dispersive soils pose a significant global challenge to both engineering applications and agricultural production, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. Conventional soil modifiers used to address this issue not only present environmental and economic concerns but also fail to effectively improve soil alkalinity. This study investigates the potential application of acidic desulfurization gypsum (DG) as a soil modifier for dispersive soils, aiming to achieve high-value utilization of industrial solid waste.

Advertising systems are designed to maximize platform revenue, but other goals also need to be considered, such as user experience, advertiser utility, and how to achieve the long-term revenue goal. A key component of a sponsored search system is online allocation, which makes real-time decisions to match users' search requests with relevant ad campaigns to maximize platform revenue within constraints such as campaign budgets.

In this work, we propose a gradient homojunction structure with germanium doping that generates an internal electric field across the perovskite film to deplete the charge carriers. This structure reduces the dark current density of perovskite by over 2 orders of magnitude and trap density by an order of magnitude.

Practical implementations of HDFs inevitably involve numerical approximations─even more so than their local and semilocal counterparts due to the additional numerical complexity arising from treating the exact-exchange component. This raises the question regarding the reproducibility of the HDF results yielded by different implementations.
