A photoredox/Lewis acid cooperative catalytic system has been developed for the construction of C-C bonds through the dehydrative difluoroalkylation of benzyl alcohols. A variety of allylic -difluorides could be obtained in moderate yields with good to excellent / selectivity. In addition, several control experiments have been explored, and a possible mechanism was proposed for this process.

Objective: To observe the contribution of Borneolum syntheticum to the intervention effect of Liuwei Dihuang Pill (, LDP) on experimental retinal degeneration, and initially investigate the mechanism of Borneolum syntheticum as meridian-lead-in drug.

Methods: A total of 180 sodium iodateinduced retinital degeneration rats were randomly divided into three groups, including distilled water group, LDP group, and LDP+Borneolum syntheticum (LDP+BS) group. Twenty normal rats were fed regularly without any treatment as normal control.

Article Synopsis
  • The Ag@Ag2MoO4-AgBr composite was created using an in-situ anion-exchange method and involves coating silver nanoparticles through photodeposition.
  • This composite enhances electron transition and separates electron-hole pairs more effectively due to the presence of silver nanoparticles as electron traps.
  • It significantly improves photocatalytic activity for degrading organic dyes, showing greater efficiency compared to pure AgBr and Ag2MoO4, capable of degrading specific dyes like Rhodamin B in just 7 minutes.
