In this paper, an oral liquid containing Magnolia officinalis polysaccharide was formulated and its hypoglycemic effects were investigated. An orthogonal test was conducted based on single-factor experiments to optimize the formulation guided by sensory evaluations. Its stability and safety were also assessed.

The actin-binding protein LASP1 regulates proteins associated with the cytoskeleton, yet its precise involvement in NETs and AP remains to be elucidated.
Methods: To investigate the role of LASP1 in NETs and AP, several bioinformatics methods, such as weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), differential analysis, and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression, were utilized to screen for feature genes based on the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) dataset.

The catalyst design was based on mechanistic studies and DFT calculations demonstrating that adsorption of formic acid to Ru NPs on silica results in surface formate species that prevent C═O hydrogenation. Ru NPs were immobilized on readily accessible silica supports modified with guanidinium-based ionic liquid phases (Ru@SILP) to generate in situ sufficient amounts of HCOOH when CO was introduced into the H feed gas for switching off ketone hydrogenation while maintaining the activity for hydrogenation of olefinic and aromatic C═C bonds.

Methods: Perioperative data of 1055 patients with complex kidney stones treated with first-stage Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) from September 2016 until September 2021 were included. Preoperative mid-stream urine samples and surgically obtained stone material were subjected to bacterial culture and antibiotic sensitivity tests.
