The existence of a large number of thermal bridges in the Lightweight Steel-Framed (LSF) building leads to its energy loss. The reduction of the heat transfer of thermal bridges is crucial for increasing the thermal performance of the building envelope. In this study, the infrared technology was first used to measure the temperature of LSF buildings, and clear thermal bridge junctions were determined.

At present, the characteristics of double-hit multiple myeloma (DHMM) are unknown. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data from 433 new diagnosed MM patients and found that DHMM have a higher β2-MG level and percentage of bone marrow plasma cell. Cox regression analysis showed that the prognosis of DHMM was not limited by clinical indicators.

, also known as passion fruit, is celebrated for its rich nutritional content, distinctive flavour, and significant medicinal benefits. At present, viral diseases pose a major challenge to the passion fruit industry, affecting both the production and quality of the fruit. These diseases impede the sustainable and healthy growth of the passion fruit sector.

The rising demand for point-of-care testing (POCT) in disease diagnosis has made LFIA sensors based on dendritic metal thin film (HD-nanometal) and background fluorescence technology essential for rapid and accurate disease marker detection, thanks to their integrated design, high sensitivity, and cost-effectiveness. However, their unique 3D nanostructures cause significant fluorescence variation, challenging traditional image processing methods in segmenting weak fluorescence regions. This paper develops a deep learning method to efficiently segment target regions in HD-nanometal LFIA sensor images, improving quantitative detection accuracy.

This study aimed to understand the current state of adolescent mental health, explore the mediating effect of bullying victimization and resilience in the relationship between adolescent family functioning and mental health, and investigate gender differences in this association. A total of 4319 students (2347 boys and 1972 girls) completed the questionnaire. Mediating effects were analyzed using the framework of structural equation modeling and bootstrapping.

The HD-ZIP (homeodomain-leucine zipper) genes hold significant importance in transcriptional regulation, especially in plant development and responses to abiotic stresses. However, a comprehensive study targeting HD-ZIP family members in passion fruit has been absent. In our current research, 34 HD-ZIP family members (PeHBs) were identified by bioinformatics analysis.

Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) is a critical biomarker for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Herein, we report a novel integrated lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) platform for highly sensitive point-of-care testing (POCT) of cTnI using hierarchical dendritic copper-nickel (HD-nanoCu-Ni) nanostructures. The electrodeposited HD-nanoCu-Ni film (∼22 μm thick) on an ITO-coated glass substrate exhibits superior capillary action and structural integrity.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients carrying Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3-internal tandem duplication (FLT3-ITD) mutations often face a poor prognosis. While some FLT3 inhibitors have been used clinically, challenges such as short efficacy and poor specificity persist. Proteolytic targeting chimera (PROTAC), with its lower ligand affinity requirement for target proteins, offers higher and rapid targeting capability.

Background: Studies have revealed that acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients are prone to combined cardiac injury. We aimed to identify hematological risk factors associated with cardiac injury in newly diagnosed AML patients before chemotherapy and develop a personalized predictive model.

Methods: The population baseline, blood test, electrocardiogram, echocardiograph, and genetic and cytogenetic data were collected from newly diagnosed AML patients.

Background: Short-form videos have become one of the most popular ways for people to entertain and relax. However, the intense interest in short-form videos has given rise to short-video addiction, which poses risks to both physical and mental health of individuals. Undergraduates are one of the important users for short-form videos, and the influence of short-form video addiction calls for more attention.

Introduction: During emergencies, individuals and communities often react in a variety of ways, including panic response. However, the study of panic response is limited due to narrow assessment tools that measure only one or two dimensions of human response (eg, physiology, cognition, emotion, and behavior). To address this limitation and to explore the risk and protective factors of panic response during the global spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the current study developed and evaluated the (PRS).

Contract energy management model is a new energy-saving mode based on single market mechanism. Due to its externality, the energy efficiency market cannot realize the optimal allocation of resources. Government energy-saving subsidy can solve the market failure of energy-saving service market and improve the performance level of energy-saving service company.

Background: Immunophenotyping surface molecules detected in the clinic are mainly applied in diagnostic confirmation and subtyping. However, the immunomodulatory molecules CD11b and CD64, are highly associated with leukemogenesis. Hence, the prognostic value of them and their potential biological functions merit further investigation.

Background: Childhood maltreatment has a severe impact on both the health and parenting styles of abused individuals in adulthood, and it even has a negative impact on the offspring of abused individuals. Although studies have confirmed the intergenerational effects of childhood maltreatment, relatively few have emphasized emotional neglect and its mechanism of intergenerational effects. Additionally, few studies have examined the unique role of fathers and how mothers and fathers interact with one another.

As an emerging therapeutic strategy, proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) have been proven to be superior to traditional drugs in many aspects. However, due to their unique mechanism of action, existing methods for evaluating the degradation still have many limitations, which seriously restricts the development of PROTACs. In this methodological study, using direct stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy (dSTORM)-based single-cell protein quantitative analysis, we systematically investigated the dynamic degradation characteristics of FLT3 protein during PROTACs treatment.

We report on a combined experimental and theoretical investigation of the N(D) + CHCCH (allene) reaction of relevance in the atmospheric chemistry of Titan. Experimentally, the reaction was investigated (i) under single-collision conditions by the crossed molecular beams (CMB) scattering method with mass spectrometric detection and time-of-flight analysis at the collision energy ( ) of 33 kJ/mol to determine the primary products and the reaction micromechanism and (ii) in a continuous supersonic flow reactor to determine the rate constant as a function of temperature from 50 to 296 K. Theoretically, electronic structure calculations of the doublet CHN potential energy surface (PES) were performed to assist the interpretation of the experimental results and characterize the overall reaction mechanism.
