Fatty liver hemorrhage syndrome (FLHS) is the most common metabolic diseases in laying hens during the late-laying period, and it causes a significant economic burden on the poultry industry. The competing endogenous RNA plays crucial roles in the occurrence and development of fatty liver. Based on the previously constructed lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA networks, we selected the axis of ENSGALT00000079786-LPL-miR-143-5p for further study to elucidate its mechanistic role in development of fatty liver.

However, the low electrical conductivity of the material limits the diffusion rate of zinc ions, ultimately compromising its structural stability. In this study, we demonstrate the synthesis of nanowires through a simple hydrothermal recombination of carbon dots on vanadium sulfide.

Eighteen rats were randomly chosen from 24 SPF-grade rats for the modeling of CIA with the syndrome of kidney deficiency. The 24 SPF-grade rats were randomized into 4 groups: control(normal rats), model(CIA with syndrome of kidney deficiency), model+WBT(M+WBT), and model+methotrexate(M+MTX).

Both conditions share common pathophysiological pathways including abnormal lipid metabolism and inflammation. Berberine (BBR), an isoquinoline alkaloid, is known for its beneficial effects on various metabolic and cardiovascular disorders.

In this study, there are four amino acid mutations (F39Y, H163Y, S203A, and V361E) between and , which were cloned, respectively, from susceptible (S) and tribenuron-methyl-resistant (TR) . The Arabidopsis expressing or showed resistance to tribenuron-methyl, carfentrazone-ethyl, and oxyfluorfen, while Arabidopsis transformed with CYP96A146-R or CYP96A146 with any two or three mutations of H163Y, S203A, or V361E exhibited significantly higher resistance to tribenuron-methyl than Arabidopsis expressing CYP96A146-S.

Carotenoids and chlorophyll are primary pigments affecting leaf color with differential metabolic mechanisms in albino tea resources. TEM analysis showed that in albino stage, much less chloroplasts with abnormal structure were observed in white and yellow tea leaves, which corresponded to the significant reduction of total chlorophyll, Chl a and Chl b, and increase of Chl a/b, resulting in tea leaves to lose their green color.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAdipose tissue is composed of adipocytes, stromal vascular fraction, nerves, surrounding immune cells, and the extracellular matrix. Under various physiological or pathological conditions, adipose tissue shifts cellular composition, lipid storage, and organelle dynamics to respond to the stress; this remodeling is called "adipose tissue plasticity". Adipose tissue plasticity includes changes in the size, species, number, lipid storage capacity, and differentiation function of adipocytes, as well as alterations in the distribution and cellular composition of adipose tissue.

Using Achromobacter xylosoxidans BP1 isolated from a coal chemical site in China, this study elucidated the contribution of EPS production to Cr (VI) reduction and revealed its biological removal mechanism. BP1 grew at an optimum pH of 8 and the lowest inhibitory concentration of Cr(VI) was 300 mg/L.

The main pathogens include bovine rotavirus (BRV), bovine coronavirus (BCoV), and Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) K99. Since multiple infectious agents can be involved in calf diarrhea, detecting each causative agent by traditional methods is laborious and expensive.

To reveal the difference in key metabolites constituting the important quality of different tea resources, amino acids and flavonoids profiles in three albino resources with different degrees of albinism and one normal green variety were comprehensively investigated. K-means analysis revealed 35 amino acids were significantly enriched in 'Jibai', while 3 and 2 were specifically accumulated in 'Huangjinya' and 'Anjibaicha', respectively.

Identifying high-efficiency solar photovoltaic systems with two-dimensional (2D) materials is still an urgent challenge to meet modern energy requirements. Very recently, a 2D heterostructure with type-II band alignment has been confirmed to be more favorable for application in photoelectric conversion. However, the staggered band offset of 2D type-II heterostructures cannot always be guaranteed, nor the intrinsic hindrance mechanism of carrier recombination being clear.

This work proposes the addition of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO NPs) for performance improvement of MoO/NC. TiO NPs embedded on the surface of a MoO/NC nanosheet can alleviate its volume expansion and the accumulation of lithiated products and improve the conductivity of the electrode material.

In this paper, we propose a pre-configured error pattern ordered statistics decoding (PEPOSD) algorithm and discuss its application to short cyclic redundancy check (CRC)-polar codes. Unlike the traditional OSD that changes the most reliable independent symbols, we regard the decoding process as testing the error patterns, like guessing random additive noise decoding (GRAND). Also, the pre-configurator referred from ordered reliability bits (ORB) GRAND can better control the range and testing order of EPs.
