Method: A comprehensive survey was administered to 2,696 Chinese residents to examine their medical decision-making patterns.
Objective: Machine learning (ML) algorithms, as an early branch of artificial intelligence technology, can effectively simulate human behavior by training on data from the training set. Machine learning algorithms were used in this study to predict patient choice tendencies in medical decision-making. Its goal was to help physicians understand patient preferences and to serve as a resource for the development of decision-making schemes in clinical treatment.

There are obvious local differences in the degree of judicial reliance in different provinces, with some citizens more willing to resort to the courts to settle disputes, whereas others are indifferent to the courts. Based on the judicial survey data of 31 provinces in China, we use fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis to explore the possible reasons for differences in citizens' judicial reliance in China.
