- - The study aimed to examine how different frequencies of outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation affect various health aspects in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as lung function, muscle strength, and quality of life (QOL).
- - A total of 36 male patients aged over 40 participated, with one group receiving rehabilitation once a month and another group once a week for 12 weeks, including both supervised and home-based exercises.
- - Results indicated that the group with weekly interventions showed significantly greater improvements in QOL, muscle strength, and 6-minute walking distance compared to the monthly intervention group.
