A retrospective analysis of the improvement in the health condition of patients undergoing hemodialysis was done to understand the important factors that can affect malnutrition in these patients. In this study, data from patients who underwent hemodialysis between 2010 and 2015 in a regional hospital in Yunlin County were collected from the Taiwan Society of Nephrology-Kidney Transplantation database. A total of 1049 medical records from 300 patients with age over 20 and underwent hemodialysis were collected for this study.

The emergence of transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) as atomically thin semiconductors has opened new frontiers in semiconductor heterostructures either by stacking different TMDs to form vertical heterojunctions or by stitching them laterally to form lateral heterojunctions via direct growth. In conventional semiconductor heterostructures, the design of multijunctions is critical to achieve carrier confinement.

Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) grown monolayer WSe flakes were transferred onto a Ag film and a Ag nanotriangle array that had a 1.5 nm AlO capping layer.

The carrier-magnetic ion exchange interaction effects are tunable through wave function engineering. In our quantum well heterostructures, manganese was incorporated by growing a Cd0.
