Methods: We recruited 58 MA-dependent young adult females from a compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation center in Sichuan Province and randomly divided them into an MBRP group (n = 29) and a control group (n = 29) according to their degree of psychological craving. The MBRP group received 2 hours of MBRP training twice a week for 4 weeks, alongside routine treatment at the drug rehabilitation center. Meanwhile, the control group solely received routine treatment at the drug rehabilitation center without any additional interventions.

Recent advancements in hyperspectral imaging (HSI) offer a non-destructive, efficient, and reliable method to assess critical quality indicators of RG, such as reducing sugar content (RSC), water content (WC), and hollow rate (HR). This study developed predictive models using HSI technology to monitor these quality indicators over the spectral range of 400-1700 nm.

ONC201, a member of the imipridone drug family, has shown promising therapeutic potential and a good safety profile in both malignant pediatric central nervous system tumors (diffuse midline glioma [DMG]) and hematologic malignancies. ONC206 is a more potent analog of ONC201.

In the biomedical domain, understanding the complex relationships between compounds and proteins is critical, especially in the context of signal transduction and biochemical pathways. Among these relationships, protein-protein interactions (PPIs) are of particular interest, given their potential to trigger a variety of biological reactions.

Hence, continuous studies are conducted to determine the mechanisms involved in the progression of the disease and subsequently suggest effective treatment. The present study attempted to evaluate the effects of Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate (EGCG), an herbal antioxidant, on inflammation, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and autophagy in a rat pneumonia model.

Human adenovirus (HAdV) is a common pathogen that can cause acute respiratory infections (ARIs) in children. Adenovirus pneumonia is the most severe respiratory disease associated with HAdV. We aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics of children hospitalized with adenovirus pneumonia in Quanzhou, China, in 2019.

Accumulating evidence shows that CD58-expressing tumor cell is implicated in development of various cancers. The present study aimed to reveal the functional significance of CD58 in HCC progression and the underlying mechanisms.

Lenvatinib, as a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor, has gained increasing attention for its antitumor activity. However, the effect and mechanisms of Lenvatinib on HCC metastasis are virtually unknown.

Based on the fragment coupling strategy, nitrobenzene-containing hemicucurbituril was firstly prepared facilely under alkaline environment, and reduction of the nitro groups produced the desired amidobenzene-containing hemicucurbituril. As an original fluorescent chemosensor, it exhibited strong interactions with Fe over other metal cations.

Currently there is a lack of tumor-selective and efficacious therapies for hepatocellular carcinoma. β-Lapachone (ARQ761 in clinical form) selectively kill NADPH: quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1)-overexpressing cancer cells.

The molecular mechanism of SOX13, a member of the SOX family, in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains largely unknown. In the current study, we found that HCC cells were able to form spheroids in serum-free suspension culture and that SOX13 expression was upregulated in spheroids enriched for cancer stem cells (CSCs).

Methods: An electronic search was carried out in the CENTRAL, PubMed, and Embase databases to identify randomized clinical trials (RCTs) that compared the VSP and TSP techniques regarding their surgical accuracy for hard tissue, prediction precision for soft tissue, required time for planning and surgery, cost and patient-reported outcomes.
Results: Eight articles from 5 RCTs, involving 199 patients, were identified.
Natural language processing (NLP) is widely applied in biological domains to retrieve information from publications. Systems to address numerous applications exist, such as biomedical named entity recognition (BNER), named entity normalization (NEN) and protein-protein interaction extraction (PPIE). High-quality datasets can assist the development of robust and reliable systems; however, due to the endless applications and evolving techniques, the annotations of benchmark datasets may become outdated and inappropriate.
