Two Undescribed Coumarins from Notopterygium Incisum with Anti-Inflammatory Activity.

Two previously undescribed coumarins (1-2) were isolated from the root of Notopterygium incisum. The structures of new findings were elucidated by analyses of spectral evidences in HRESIMS, NMR, as well as ICD. The absolute configurations were further confirmed by chemical calculations.

Pharmacokinetic Properties of Single and Multiple Doses of Ertugliflozin, a Selective Inhibitor of SGLT2, in Healthy Chinese Subjects.

Ertugliflozin, a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, prevents renal glucose reabsorption resulting in urinary glucose excretion. This open-label, parallel cohort, randomized study conducted in healthy Chinese adults residing in China assessed the pharmacokinetics, tolerability, and safety of 5 mg and 15 mg of ertugliflozin following single (fasted condition) and multiple-dose (fed condition) administration. Sixteen subjects were randomized and completed the study.

Aim: Phase III, randomized, double-blind study evaluating the efficacy and safety of ertugliflozin in Asian patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) inadequately controlled on metformin, including evaluation in the China subpopulation.

Materials And Methods: A 26-week, double-blind study of 506 Asian patients (80.2% from mainland China), randomized 1:1:1 to placebo, ertugliflozin 5- or 15 mg, was performed.
