Flexible sweat sensors possess the special potential for continuous non-invasive monitoring of human blood glucose. We put forward a flexible microcolumn array sensor, which is designed for health monitoring by means of detecting glucose levels in sweat and capturing physiological signals related to human movement. Cerebral infarction is a common type of stroke with high incidence and disability rates, and most patients experience varying degrees of cognitive impairment. The manifestations and severity of post-infarction cognitive impairment are influenced by multiple interacting factors, and its pathophysiological mechanisms are highly complex, involving pericyte degeneration, excessive generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), overproduction of glutamate, and overactivation of autophagy. After cerebral infarction, abnormal pericyte function activates neuroinflammation and facilitates the entry of inflammatory mediators into the brain; detachment of pericytes from blood vessels disrupts the integrity of the blood-brain barrier.

Purpose/objective(s): Use of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) versus three-dimensional conformal external beam radiation therapy (3D-CRT) for definitive chemoradiation therapy (CRT) in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LA-NSCLC) has been associated with decreased late pneumonitis, decreased high dose to the heart (itself associated with improved overall survival), and improved patient quality of life. In a statewide radiation oncology quality consortium, we sought to evaluate the impact of IMRT versus 3D-CRT treatment technique on dosimetry and toxicity.

Based on the concept of continuous dopaminergic stimulation (CDS), Rotigotine Behenate extended-release microspheres for injection (RBEM) are currently under development. To support human clinical trials of RBEM, a 20-week repeat-dose toxicity study was conducted. Identifying genes causally linked to cancer from a multi-omics perspective is essential for understanding the mechanisms of cancer and improving therapeutic strategies. Traditional statistical and machine-learning methods that rely on generalized correlation approaches to identify cancer genes often produce redundant, biased predictions with limited interpretability, largely due to overlooking confounding factors, selection biases, and the nonlinear activation function in neural networks. In this study, we introduce a novel framework for identifying cancer genes across multiple omics domains, named ICGI (Integrative Causal Gene Identification), which leverages a large language model (LLM) prompted with causality contextual cues and prompts, in conjunction with data-driven causal feature selection.
