Given the challenging circumstances of aging with disability, family caregivers (FGs) face significant strain. Resilience, however, is a crucial protective factor against adverse caregiving outcomes. The study thus aimed to determine the latent classes of resilience among FGs and examine how these classes are related to care burden and psychological distress.

Study Design: Retrospective case-control study.

Objective: To examine the differences in various clinical indicators between Kümmell's disease (KD) and osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF), in order to assist in the diagnosis of KD and provide a foundation for further analysis of its risk factors.

Summary Of Background Data: The mechanisms underlying the progression of OVCF to KD remain unclear, and research analyzing the indicators between the two conditions is still limited.

Alleviation of DSS-induced colitis in mice by a new-isolated C4.

Introduction: Probiotic is adjuvant therapy for traditional drug treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC). In the present study, C4 with high acid and bile salt resistance has been isolated and screened, and the beneficial effect of C4 on Dextran Sulfate Sodium (DSS)-induced colitis in mice has been evaluated. Our data showed that oral administration of C4 remarkably alleviated colitis symptoms in mice and minimized colon tissue damage.
