Immunostimulation effects of yellowtail heart extracts in vitro and in vivo.

The immunostimulation effects of yellowtail heart extracts were examined. Screening various parts of the yellowtail viscera, we found that extracts from the yellowtail heart enhanced IgM production by human hybridoma HB4C5 cells. Yellowtail heart extracts heated at 121°C for 20 min and dialyzed showed the highest IgM production-stimulating activity toward HB4C5 cells.

- Tests showed that the oxygen reduction activity improved as the dispersion of Pt increased, achieving good reactivity levels even at a low 2 wt% Pt loading.
A new strategy for designing chiral guanidine molecules is presented, which features the introduction of an axially chiral binaphthyl backbone. The axially chiral guanidine catalysts thus developed facilitated the highly enantioselective 1,4-addition reaction of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds with a broad range of conjugated nitroalkenes and showed extremely high catalytic activity.
