Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates how machine learning, particularly traditional methods and graph neural networks (GNNs), can be used to predict diseases by analyzing complex protein-protein interactions (PPIs).
  • PPIs are challenging to analyze due to their complexity and variability, making traditional computational methods less effective.
  • Machine learning and GNNs are shown to be more effective in detecting complex patterns and achieving better accuracy in predictions across networks of different sizes, with an emphasis on the importance of network features.

In this study, the authors aimed to investigate the change of AAT, its effect on the response to induction and its effects on the treatment process in acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients. This study included 94 patients who were hospitalized and followed up in Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, Hematology Clinic, between October 2019 and December 2021. Patients with a complete response had higher serum AAT levels than those with a non-complete response (p < 0.

The aim of this pilot study was to investigate whether a movement therapy robot can improve skills in using a myoelectric prosthesis by patients with upper limb amputations. This prospective randomized, controlled study included a total of eleven patients with upper limb amputations who use myoelectric prostheses. The patients were randomized into a robot-assisted exercise group (n = 6) and a control group (n = 5).
