The pathological features of intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm (IOPN) of the bile duct include tumor cells that are rich in eosinophilic cytoplasm and arranged in papillary structures. Herein, we report a missed case of IOPN of the bile duct because of concomitant gallstones. A 70-year-old woman was hospitalized with upper abdominal discomfort.

Background: Biliary tract infection is a common complication of choledocholithiasis. This study aimed to analyse the distribution of pathogenic bacteria in bile cultures from patients with choledocholithiasis combined with biliary tract infection to guide clinical application of antimicrobials and reduce the emergence of drug resistance.

Methods: A total of 880 patients were enrolled in this retrospective study from 30 March 2017 to 31 August 2022 at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University in China.

Background: It has been reported that postoperative adjuvant TACE (PA-TACE) treatment decreases recurrence and significantly improves the survival of patients who undergo radical resection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with high-risk recurrence factors. However, when to perform PA-TACE has not been fully studied.

Methods: We retrospectively collected the clinicopathologic characteristics of the patients with HCC between October 2013 and June 2020.

Controllably optimizing excited-state characteristics is crucial for luminescent nanoclusters but remains a formidable challenge. Herein, we report an effective "ligand-induced asymmetrization" strategy for constructing thermally activated delayed fluorescence-featured cubic CuI nanoclusters with asymmetric configurations, named [tBCzDBFDP]CuI and [PTZDBFDP]CuI. Through changing 3,6-di--butyl-carbazole (tBCz) to phenothiazine (PTZ) with a stronger electron-donating effect, emission color is tuned from greenish blue of [tBCzDBFDP]CuI to yellow of [PTZDBFDP]CuI, as well as the triplet locally excited state of the former to the triplet charge transfer state of the latter.

Electroluminescent (EL) nanoclusters holding promise for new-generation cluster light-emitting devices (CLEDs) rapidly emerge. However, slow radiation and serious quenching of cluster emitters largely limit the device performance. Herein, we report two monofunctionalized biphosphine chelated CuI clusters [DMACDBFDP]CuI and [DPACDBFDP]CuI.
