Periodontal diseases assessed by average bone resorption are associated with microvascular complications in patients with type 2 diabetes.

It would be clinically important to clarify the relationship between diabetic microvascular diseases and periodontal disease. This study aimed to evaluate the association between periodontal disease and diabetic complications in patients with type 2 diabetes with poor glycemic control.
