Aim: The aim of this research was to ascertain the correlations between alexithymia, social support, depression, and glycemic control in patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Additionally, this study sought to delve into the potential mediating effects of social support and depression in the relationship between alexithymia and glycemic control.

Method: A purposive sampling methodology was employed to select a cohort of 318 patients afflicted with type 2 diabetes mellitus, hailing from a care establishment situated in Chengdu City.

Background: Nursing research ability is an important force in improving the quality of nursing care and driving the development of the discipline. As the main force and reserve force of nursing research, master's degree nursing students should have certain research ability. The contributing factors and their relationships that challenge research ability among master's degree nursing students must be fully understood, as this level of knowledge can support the development of strategies and interventions that improve the research ability of master's degree nursing students.

Latent class analysis of psychological resilience and influencing factors in patients with rheumatoid arthritis: a cross-sectional survey.

Objectives: To investigate the latent class of psychological resilience in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and examine the factors influencing various latent types.

Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used in this study. A total of 480 patients with RA were enrolled from two tertiary care institutions in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, between May and November 2023, using the convenience sample approach.

The association between variability of risk factors and complications in type 2 diabetes mellitus: a retrospective study.

The variability in diabetes risk factors, such as uric acid and lipids, may influence the development of complications. This study aimed to investigate the influence of such variability on the occurrence of diabetic complications. A retrospective analysis of electronic medical records was conducted with type 2 diabetic patients who received treatment at a tertiary care hospital in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, between 2013 and 2022.

[Size effect of Pt nanoparticles: a study of properties of Pt loaded TiO2 thin film].

TiO2 thin films loaded with Pt nanoparticles of different sizes were prepared. The sizes of the Pt nanoparticles were measured by TEM. The TiO2 thin films were characterized using XRD, UV-Vis and photocurrent measurement.
