Introduction: Macrophages, which tend to aggregate in the hypoxic regions of tissues, have a significant impact on disease progression and outcome because of their plastic responsiveness to hypoxia, particularly in the early stages. AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a key regulator of energy balance and homeostasis, and its dysregulation is a common feature in various malignancies, particularly in NSCLC with mutations in Liver kinase B1 (LKB1). The repair process of bone tissue includes the early inflammatory response period and the late tissue repair period. Seven new polyketide compounds, four naphthoquinone derivatives, neofusarubins A-D (, , , and ) and three graminin-like compounds, fusofuranones A-C (-), together with 14 known naphthoquinone derivatives, were isolated from the solid fermentation of , an endophytic fungus obtained from medicinal plant as tea, . The structures of new compounds were elucidated based on chemical evidence and spectral data analysis (1D and 2D-NMR, HR-ESI-MS, ECD, SC-XRD). Among the isolated compounds tested, 2-acetonyl-3-methyl-5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-naphthazarin () exhibited the most potent inhibitory activity against pancreatic cancer in PANC-1, MiaPaCa-2, and BxPC-3 cells.

The efficient synthesis of the pyrrolo[4,3,2-]quinoline core of the lymphostin family (compound ) has been accomplished in 7 steps and 18.6% overall yield, providing an efficient method for the total synthesis and structural modification of the lymphostin family. Compound showed potent inhibitory activities against PI3K/mTOR in the nanomolar range and activity against human colorectal cancer cell lines comparable to that of oxaliplatin, which could be recognized as a novel lead compound for cancer therapy.

In this work, we prepared a thick reduced graphene oxide/carbon nanotube-reduced graphene oxide/carbon nanotubes/manganese oxide@carbon nanotubes (rGC-rGCMC) electrode with controlled lattice architectures, core-sheath structure, and hierarchical porosity by material coaxial extrusion 3D printing, freeze-drying, and thermal treatment. The volume ratios of core to sheath, including 100%-0%, 0%-100%, 20%-80%, 30%-70%, 40%-60%, and 50%-50%, were designed to investigate the influences of the core-sheath structure on thick electrodes.

Eighteen nitrogen-containing compounds (-) were isolated from cultures of the lichen-associated collected from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, including seven phenazine derivatives with three new ones, named subphenazines A-C (-), two new furan pyrrolidones (-), and nine known alkaloids. A chemical investigation of the arils of led to the isolation of seven abietane-type diterpenoids (compounds -) including three previously undescribed compounds, one unreported natural product, and three known analogs.
