Polynuclear Au(I) cluster photocatalysts, known for their high activity and stability, hold substantial potential in organic synthetic chemistry. This study synthesized two Au(I) supramolecular cluster catalysts with different nuclearities: a tetranuclear cluster, C1 ([(dppmAu)L] • PF ), and a hexadecanuclear cluster, C2 [(dppmAu)(Au)(L)] • 4PF , through a multicomponent stepwise self-assembly approach. Both cluster structures feature aurophilicity interaction motifs that endow them with exceptional photocatalytic performance, exhibiting optical band gaps of 2.

Ligand-activated vitamin D receptor (VDR) has been identified as an effective target for hepatic fibrosis, reducing ECM by inhibiting hepatic stellate cell (HSC) activation. Here, a series of novel diphenyl VDR agonists have been rationally designed and synthesized.

Since the doubted effectiveness of enhanced penetration and retention effect, first-generation neutrophil cytopharmaceuticals with encapsulated drugs have been developed to improve the drug accumulation in tumors based on the active chemotaxis and extravasation of neutrophils. Herein, a new generation of neutrophil cytopharmaceuticals with enhanced tumor-specific extravasation is reported to satisfy more complex clinical demands.

However, HG evaluation methods, such as the pathological Nottingham grading system, are highly subjective with only 50-85% inter-observer agreements. Specifically, the subjectivity in the pathological assignment of the intermediate grade (HG2) breast cancers, comprising of about half of breast cancer cases, results in uncertain disease outcomes prediction.
