Background: Spinal cord injury (SCI) remains a severe condition with an extremely high disability rate and complex pathophysiologic mechanisms. Pyroptosis, an inflammatory form of cell death triggered by certain inflammasomes, has a key role in a variety of inflammatory diseases, including SCI. However, it is unclear whether microRNAs (miRNAs), novel regulators in the SCI, are involved in SCI-induced pyroptosis.

Herein, based on the unique bidentate ligand of dibenzo[a,c]phenazine (dbpz) group with strong conjugated effect of aromatic rings for red emission, four novel [3+2+1] coordinated iridium (III) emissive materials have been rationally designed and synthesized. The monodentate ligands of -CN and -OCN have been effectively employed to tune the deep-red emission of 628-675 nm with high photoluminescence quantum yields up to 98%.

We performed GO and KEGG analysis of GSE15227 database to select the differential genes CHST3 and CSPG4 in grade Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ intervertebral disc degeneration, IHC and WB to detect the protein profile of CHST3 and CSPG4, Co-IP for the interaction between CHST3 and CSPG4. Then, immunofluorescence was applied to measure the level of CD90 and CD105, and flow cytometry indicated the level of CD73, CD90 and CD105 in CESCs.

In this Communication, a series of luminescent iridium(III) complexes supported by chromophoric pyridinium-derived N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands that display tunable emission from 516 to 682 nm were prepared. These complexes can be used as photocatalysts in photooxidation and photoreduction reactions and could have potential applications in pH sensing.
