Developing two-dimensional (2D) hybrid nanosheet arrays integrating inorganic and organic components is highly significant for third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) applications. Herein, an oriented 2D porphyrin-based MOF (ZnTPyP(Co)) thin film composed of vertically stacked ultrathin nanosheets was fabricated via the liquid-phase epitaxial (LPE) layer-by-layer (LBL) method. The prepared ZnTPyP(Co) thin film exhibits an outstanding third-order NLO response with a high third-order nonlinear susceptibility of ∼2.

However, whether the combination of Que and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) has a synergistic effect on drug-resistant CC cells has not previously been reported. The effect of Que (5 and 10 μg/mL) on cell vitality and apoptosis of CC and CC drug-resistant cells was examined using a cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and flow cytometry.

This study aims to evaluate the short-term efficacy of Bifidobacterium quadruple viable tablet in patients with diarrhea-predominant IBS and explore factors associated with response to probiotics.
Methods: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial was performed in 15 hospitals.
Backgrounds: As a new oral chemotherapy drug, TAS-102 is currently recommended as the third-line treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Recently, studies have reported the efficacy of TAS-102 combined with bevacizumab in colon cancer patients after standard treatment fails. Here, we evaluated the efficacy and safety of TAS-102 combined with bevacizumab versus TAS-102 as a single agent by a systematic review and a meta-analysis.

Most patients are in an advanced stage at the time of initial diagnosis and cannot be cured by a single surgery. The ASCO clinical practice guideline emphasized the overall management and multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment which put forward the concept of conversion therapy.

Conversion therapy can reduce tumor burden, downgrade tumor, and increase the possibility of complete resection, thus prolonging the survival time of patients with gastric cancer.
