The catalysts were characterized for their physicochemical properties using XRD, BET, Raman spectroscopy, TPR, TPO, and XPS. All synthesized CeO nanostructures show diffraction peaks corresponding to the formation of cubic fluorite, which agrees with Raman spectra of the F mode.

Methods: This was a pilot study of 6 patients provided with 3D printed (test group) or conventionally heat-cured (control group) removable partial acrylic dentures followed up for 6 weeks. 3 denture swabs were collected at week 1, 3 and 6; and saliva samples were collected at baseline, week 1, 3 and 6 following denture insertion.
Since petroleum became depleted, rapid attention has been devoted to renewable energy sources such as lignocellulosic biomass to produce useful chemicals for industry (for instance vanillin). Three primary components of lignocellulose are lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose. This paper uses microwave-assisted technology to oxidize the kenaf stalk (lignocellulosic biomass) and extract lignin to produce vanillin.

However, the adaptation and fit of the SLM framework and the optimum build orientation are still unclear.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro and clinical study was to evaluate the effect of different build orientations on the adaptation of removable partial denture frameworks fabricated by SLM technology in vitro and to compare the adaptation of the SLM and conventional RPD frameworks clinically.
With the advancement of technologies and growth of the economy, it is inevitable that more complex processes are deployed, producing more heterogeneous wastewater that comes from biomedical, biochemical and various biotechnological industries. While the conventional way of wastewater treatment could effectively reduce the chemical oxygen demand, pH and turbidity of wastewater, trace pollutants, specifically the endocrine disruptor compounds (EDCs) that exist in µg L or ng L have further hardened the detection and removal of these biochemical pollutants. Even in small amounts, EDC could interfere human's hormone, causing severe implications on human body.

Methods: Data from a cross-sectional survey of 268 public and private doctors and allied health practitioners in Peninsular Malaysia were used for this analysis. Using Rasch analysis, overall model fit and item fit of the summary UMB Fat and domain scores were examined, together with unidimensionality, response threshold ordering, internal consistency, measurement invariance, and item targeting.
Objective: To explore patients' experiences accessing healthcare for obesity and their perceived behaviour changes following the care.
Design: Using a descriptive qualitative research approach informed by Levesque's framework of access to healthcare, we conducted phone interviews in the Malaysian language, which were audio-recorded and transcribed verbatim. Data were analysed inductively using a reflexive thematic analysis approach.
CO absorption has been driven by the need for efficient and environmentally sustainable CO capture technologies. The development in the synthesis of ionic liquids (ILs) has attracted immense attention due to the possibility of obtaining compounds with designated properties. This allows ILs to be used in various applications including, but not limited to, biomass pretreatment, catalysis, additive in lubricants and dye-sensitive solar cell (DSSC).

This study aims to describe practitioners' perceptions, experiences and needs in managing patients with obesity, determine the extent of weight stigma among health practitioners, and identify the factors associated with negative judgment towards patients with obesity.
Methods: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted from May to August 2022 with health practitioners commonly involved in obesity management in Peninsular Malaysia, including doctors in primary care, internal medicine and bariatric surgery, and allied health practitioners.

Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the adherence of Streptococcus spp. and Candida spp.
Introduction: The number of children with mental health problems has more than doubled since the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the effect of long Covid on children's mental health is still debatable. Recognising long Covid as a risk factor for mental health problems in children will increase awareness and screening for mental health problems following COVID-19 infection, resulting in earlier intervention and lower morbidity.

Understanding the experience of people living with obesity is crucial for delivering holistic care relevant to the socio-cultural context. Although half of the Malaysian adults have excessive weight, the lived experience of people with obesity in the Malaysian context is not well studied. Using the principles of hermeneutic phenomenology, this study explores the lived experience of adults with obesity in Malaysia and their perspective on the environmental influences on obesity.

Thermal analyses of 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bromide [CMPyr][Br] and 1,4-bis(1-methylpyrrolidinium-1-yl)butane dibromide [BisCMPyr][Br] were conducted at a temperature range of 50-650 °C and subjected to various heating rates, which are 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 °C/min. Thermogravimetric analysis revealed that dicationic IL, [BisCMPyr][Br] is less thermally stable compared to monocationic [CMPyr][Br].
