The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of ternary all-small-molecule organic solar cells (T-ASM-OSCs) differs significantly from that of the polymer systems (2 %), and the role of third component remains unclear. The electron donor of coumarin derivatives with simple structure and strong and broad light absorption has high PCE for T-ASM-OSCs composed of non-fullerene acceptors (Y6 and DBTBT-IC). This study presents a targeted dual-acid preservation strategy for ready-to-eat crayfish (Procambarus clarkii), integrating a blend of phytic and lactic acids to fortify key sensory attributes throughout the storage phase. The primary objective was to maintain the sensory attributes of the crayfish during a 30-day storage period under 40 °C. Our approach significantly bolstered color retention by suppressing Maillard reactions and lipid oxidation, thereby maintaining the product's visual allure.

Photocatalytic removal of antibiotic such as ciprofloxacin from polluted water is of great value for eco-environment protection. To further enhance the piezoelectric effect in photocatalysis, we designed and synthesized a ternary heterojunction piezoelectric photocatalyst through uniformly loading MoS nanosheets onto BiFeO (BFO) nanofibers, namely MoS/BiS/BFO. Piezoresponse force microscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy demonstrated its enhanced piezoelectric properties, showing a maximum amplitude displacement of 395.

The effects of wheat bran dietary fiber (WBDF) treated by air flow micro-pulverization on gelatinization, thermal, rheological, structural properties, and in vitro digestion of wheat starch (WS) were investigated. Different particle sizes of WBDF were obtained by conventional knife grinding and airflow micro-grinding. Compared with conventional knife grinding, the particle size of WBDF treated by air flow micro-pulverization decreased, the particle size distribution was concentrated at small particle sizes, the specific surface area increased, and the hydraulic and oil-holding power decreased, which was mainly related to the change of WBDF spatial structure and the increase of solubility.

Macrocyclization is a compelling strategy for conventional drug design for improving biological activity, target specificity, and metabolic stability, but it was rarely applied to the design of PROTACs possibly due to the mechanism and structural complexity. Herein, we report the rational design of the first series of "Head-to-Tail" macrocyclic PROTACs. The resulting molecule exhibited pronounced Brd4 protein degradation with low nM DC values while almost totally dismissing the "hook effect", which is a general character and common concern of a PROTAC, in multiple cancer cell lines.

The H9N2 subtype of avian influenza viruses (AIVs) is widely prevalent in poultry and wild birds globally, with occasional transmission to humans. In comparison to other H9N2 lineages, the BJ/94 lineage has raised more public health concerns; however, its evolutionary dynamics and transmission patterns remain poorly understood. In this study, we demonstrate that over three decades (1994-2023), BJ/94 lineage has undergone substantial expansion in its geographical distribution, interspecies transmission, and viral reassortment with other AIV subtypes, increasing associated public health risks.

To reveal the stratigraphic age of the Shiqianfeng Formation in the eastern continental basin of the North China Craton and the provenance of its sediments from the Late Carboniferous to the Early Triassic, six sandstone samples from the Puyang area were selected for zircon U-Pb dating. The result show that the Shiqianfeng Formation in the eastern North China Craton belongs to the Early Triassic. According to the age clusters of six samples, considering the regional geological setting and the distribution of zircon ages in the potential provenance area, it can be inferred that the Inner Mongolia Paleo-uplift provided continuous provenance supply for the study area during the Late Carboniferous-Early Triassic.
