Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and dibenzo-p-dioxins and furans (PCDD/Fs) are notorious persistent organic pollutants (POPs), which may bioaccumulate through food chain and play detrimental effects to organisms even at trace levels. Quantification of PCBs and PCDD/Fs in biotic samples is a great challenge. In the present study, gas chromatography coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry with an atmospheric pressure chemical ionization source (GC-(APCI)MS/MS) was studied for the isotope-dilution analysis of PCBs (mono-to deca-) and PCDD/Fs in Chinese mitten crab food webs.

Objective: To investigate the prognostic role of hematological biomarkers, especially hemoglobin-platelet ratio (HPR) in the oncological outcomes in stage 1 and grade 3 (T1G3) bladder cancer.

Materials And Methods: We identified 457 T1G3 bladder cancer patients who underwent transurethral resection of the bladder (TURB) between 2009 and 2014. Based on hematological parameters (hemoglobin-platelet ratio (HPR), hemoglobin, and platelet counts), recurrence-free survival (RFS), progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) were analyzed by using Kaplan-Meier analysis.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) as a family of non-coding RNAs are increasingly recognized regarding their biogenesis, regulatory roles in gene expression and clinic significance in developmental diseases and cancers. In this study, we aim to identify circRNAs that may be associated with clinicopathological characteristics of patients with bladder cancer. The circRNAs databases CircBase and circ2 Traits were used to seek circRNAs reported to bladder cancer.

Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) is the only mycotoxin that has a legal limit in milk all over the world. In the present study, 360 raw milk samples were collected from Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shanghai and Guangdong provinces in China in September 2010, and their AFM1 levels were determined by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). More than three-fourths (78.

In the present study, 199 raw milk samples were analysed for beta-lactams, tetracyclines, sulfonamides and quinolones. They were obtained from collection tanks of milk routes in 10 provinces of China. The occurrence and concentration range of the four antibiotics were investigated by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay methods.
