The ternary Cu/ZnO/AlO catalyst is widely used in the industry for renewable methanol synthesis. The tenuous trade-off between the strong metal-support interaction (SMSI)-induced Cu-ZnO interface and the accessible Cu surface strongly affects the activity of the final catalyst. Lithium metal batteries (LMBs) suffer from severe lithium dendrite growth and side reactions in conventional carbonate electrolytes, which are characterized by low coulombic efficiency and poor cycling stability, and electrolyte engineering is an effective method for increasing the reversibility of lithium anodes. Herein, the solubility of lithium nitrate (LiNO), which is almost insoluble in carbonate electrolyte, is improved by adding zinc trifluoroacetate (Zn(TFA)), and a competitive solvation structure is constructed, forming an anion-enriched Li solvation structure, which is conducive to the formation of stable SEI and effectively inhibits adverse side reactions. The lithium metal anode exhibits uniform lithium deposition and extended cycle life, with high reversibility over plating/stripping for 640 h.

Post-myocardial infarction (MI), the rapid decrease in pH triggers myocardial cell acidosis, which compromises the therapeutic efficacy of exosomes in MI. The groundbreaking research in the human cardiac organoid MI model suggests that exosomes, when paired with pH adjustment, dramatically reduce cardiomyocyte mortality while maintaining their proliferative potential, underscoring the importance of pH regulation in myocardial preservation. Nitrogen fertilizer application is accompanied by intense release of multiple reactive nitrogen (Nr) gases such as nitrous acid (HONO), ammonia (NH), and nitric oxide (NO) from the soil, influencing atmospheric chemistry and air pollution.
