Rationale: Gaucher disease (GD) is a rare hereditary lysosomal storage disorder disease progression and inappropriate treatment. However, not all patients with GD receive timely diagnosis and treatment.
Patient Concerns: Early diagnosis is important for initiating proper treatment and preventing complications.
EBV is a gammaherpesvirus that infects a large fraction of the human population. Many people infected with the virus remain asymptomatic. The most common clinical manifestation of EBV is linked to infectious mononucleosis (IM).

This study aims to investigate the alterations in T follicular helper T (Tfh) cell balance among patients with secondary syphilis and latent syphilis.
Methods: 30 healthy controls (HCs), 24 secondary syphilis patients and 41 latent syphilis patients were enrolled.
Purpose: Given the high burden of Tuberculosis (TB) in China, the prevalence of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) is significant. Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) of (MTB) enables the identification of lineages, drug-resistant mutations, and transmission patterns, offering valuable insights for TB control, clinical diagnosis, and treatment.
Methods: We collected 202 MDR-MTB strains from 3519 suspected pulmonary TB patients treated at The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University between July 2019 and June 2021.
Background: China has seen a drastic increase in the incidence of non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) infection, which is a notable public health issue. Due to a lack of reliable epidemiological surveillance information, there is a need to gather accurate epidemiological and surveillance data, which can help clinicians effectively treat NTM patients. Moreover, drug susceptibility testing for NTM is not frequently performed in China.

Therefore, this systematically reviews the data for exploring the diagnostic value of IGRA in HIV-infected individuals complicated with active tuberculosis, aiming to provide a clinical basis for future clinical diagnosis of the disease.
Methods: Relevant studies on IGRA for diagnosing tuberculosis in HIV-infected patients were comprehensively collected from Excerpta Medica Database (EMBASE), Medline, Cochrane Library, Chinese Sci-tech Periodical Full-text Database, Chinese Periodical Full-text Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and China Wanfang Data up to July 2020.
The present study aimed to perform chromosome examination and pedigree analysis on three patients with semen abnormality who had undergone in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Peripheral blood cell culture and chromosome karyotyping were performed on 4,200 individuals who had undergone chromosome examination. Among them, 155 pregnant women who had successfully conceived were subjected to amniotic cell culture and chromosome karyotyping and those with abnormal chromosome karyotype were further subjected to C-banding and whole-genome sequencing.

Sustainable transboundary water governance is often challenged by conflicts between agents, which necessitates the design of cooperative and self-enforcing alternatives to facilitate equitable water distribution. The Nash bargaining approach, which originated from game theory, could offer a good mathematical framework to simulate strategic interactions among involved agents by considering individual rational benefits. Given that river-sharing problems often involve multiple self-interested agents, the asymmetric Nash bargaining solution (ANBS) could be used to describe agents' powers, as determined by disparate social, economic, and political as well as military status, and ensure win-win strategies based on individual rationality.
