Effectiveness and safety of tendon-bone-setting in postpartum women with sacroiliac joint pain: A retrospective multicenter study.

Sacroiliac joint (SIJ) pain leads to abnormal joint loading, and is a key risk factor for joint degeneration. This study aimed to determine the effect of tendon-bone-setting on postpartum women with SIJ pain. Multicenter retrospective review of medical records and electroencephalography reports in 10 academic medical centers.

Serum uric acid and risk of stroke: a dose-response meta-analysis.

The relationship between serum uric acid and risk of stroke is still controversial. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis based on the cohort study to explore the relationship between serum uric acid and risk of stroke, and further illuminate whether there is a linear or non-linear relationship between them. We manually searched the database including Cochrane, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and selected cohort studies focusing on the relationship between serum uric acid and stroke risk.

Association between retinol-binding protein 4 concentrations and gestational diabetes mellitus (A1GDM and A2GDM) in different pregnancy and postpartum periods.

Background: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) can cause severe adverse effects on fetal and neonatal outcomes. The following study investigates the relationship between retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4) and GDM in pregnant women with different grades (A1 and A2) and different gestational weeks.

Methods: In this retrospective study, 194 GDM patients (GDM group) and 67 normal glucose tolerance pregnant women (control group) were enrolled from 2014 to 2017.

[EZH2 gene silenced by siRNA suppresses the growth and invasion of endometrial carcinoma cells].

Objective: To explore the effects on cell proliferation and invasion as well as molecular basis after suppressing EZH2 expression in endometrial carcinoma cells by using siRNAs.

Methods: RT-PCR was used to examine the expression of EZH2 in endometrial carcinoma and their paracancerous tissues. SiRNAs targeting to EZH2 were transfected to endometrial carcinoma cells, and MTT, FACS, and boyden assays were utilized to examine cell proliferation, cell cycle change, and cell invasion.
