The efficient energy transfer in LaGaGeO:Cr, Yb/Nd and LaGaGeO:Cr, Yb, Nd was investigated in detail. In this phosphor, Cr acts as the energy absorber (250-700 nm) to sensitize Yb/Nd in LaGaGeO. Under excitation at 418 nm, LaGaGeO:Cr, Yb phosphors exhibited a broad emission band in the near-infrared (NIR) region located at 976 nm (LaGaGeO:Cr, Nd at 1056 nm), which was attributed to the F-F transition of the Yb ions (F → I transition of Nd).

Furthermore, reductions in estrogen level increase the risks of chronic complications such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and cognitive decline among others, thereby affecting the quality of life of women. Although oral estrogens are the most widely used therapy for menopausal symptoms, they suffer from poor bioavailability, and there are concerns over their safety, creating a significant concern to consumers.
