Garra dohjei, a new labeonine fish with transverse lobe and incipient proboscis is described from the Ñiangdai, a tributary of the Brahmaputra River, Meghalaya, India. The new species is distinguished from its congeners with transverse lobe and incipient proboscis, in having a well-developed transverse lobe with around 9-12 minute tubercles, deep transverse groove between transverse lobe and incipient proboscis, black spot immediately anterior to upper angle of gill opening, 5-6 dark black stripes on caudal peduncle, 33-35 lateral line scales, 9-10 predorsal scales, 16-circumpeduncular scales, 15 branched pectoral-fin rays, and total vertebrae 33.

Pseudolaguvia meghalayaensis, a new diminutive sisorid catfish, is described from the confluence of Rongkil and Rongdal streams (tributaries of the Brahmaputra River) in Meghalaya, India. It is distinguished from its congeners by a combination of characters: striae in thoracic adhesive apparatus strongly anastomosing and break up into small rounded plaques posteromedially, smooth anterior edge of dorsal spine, 8 branched pectoral-fin rays, supraoccipital spine not reaching nuchal shield, pectoral-fin length 17.120.

Schistura phamhringi, a new stone loach from Chindwin Basin in Manipur, India (Cypriniformes: Nemacheilidae).

Schistura phamhringi, new stone loach, is described from Dutah Stream, tributary of the Yu River (Chindwin basin), near Larong Village, Chandel District, Manipur, India. It is distinguished from all its congeners by a unique combination of characters: 6-7 black saddles, each continued on both flanks forming broad diamond-shaped black bars with narrow ventral margin; bars superimposed on a grey stripe along lateral line; upper lip with numerous melanophores; black basicaudal bar arc-shaped; complete lateral line; and prominent oar-like suborbital flap on male.
